Purchasing Associate

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:

Performs Day to Day purchasing for manufacturing and the facility. Must have knowledge of Quality regulations regarding purchasing for a medical company. Plans production using inventory levels and sales order demand as a guide.

Hours: Mon-Fri 7AM-4PM

Essential Functions (ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES):

• 1. Purchasing Manufacturing Raw Materials
• 2. Purchasing basic facility supplies
• 3. Interfacing with operations to Plan future production to meet the needs of customers and the organization
• 4. Data entry and report generation: Gathers and reports on various data pertaining to purchasing and or planning.
• 5. Work order generation and documentation.
• 6. Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience purchasing
• Previous experience planning production

Education

• Bachelor degree or commensurate on the job experience.
