Job Summary:


We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Med-Surg Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide care and treatment to adults who are ill, injured, or recovering, with a focus on oncology patients. You will be expected to make clinical assessments and manage treatment autonomously, working in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care. This position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and provides opportunities to be part of a supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional care.


Essential Functions:


  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation.
  • Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the patients needs and situation.
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety, ensuring effective use of time, supplies, and equipment.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments, offering support throughout their stay.


Qualifications::


  • Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience. While acute care experience is strongly preferred, LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) experience will also be considered.:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred, required within 6 months of hire.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
