Overview

The Risk Assessment Consultant will play a pivotal role in understanding and documenting an organizations data landscape. This includes identifying data sources, owners, types, volumes, purposes, and flow. The consultant will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and analyze data, propose process improvements, and contribute to data governance initiatives.


Required Skillsets

Strong Business Consulting: Proven ability to gather, organize, and document information accurately and efficiently. Detail-oriented and proficient in business and data documentation.

  • Detail Oriented: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with precision, including scheduling, data classification, and documentation. Strong attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
  • Clear Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders. Ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Data Analyst: Experience analyzing data, understanding data lineage, and working with Enterprise Data Catalogs. Ability to interpret data sets and propose data-driven improvements.
  • Problem Solver: Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies, propose solutions, and analyze data to optimize processes.


Desired Skillsets

  • Project Management: Experience managing data and process improvement projects. Ability to plan, organize, and execute project deliverables.
  • Data Management Knowledge: Understanding of data structures, databases, data flows, and integration techniques. Familiarity with data management principles and best practices.
  • Data Governance Expertise: Experience with data governance frameworks and procedures. Ability to contribute to data quality, security, and integrity initiatives.


Specific Tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Collibra, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Visio/Lucid Charts, and Confluence preferred.


Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with various project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).
