About Us: Fasteners Inc Tool Outlet is a growing supplier of power tools and fasteners dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We currently have 7 retail locations spread across California and Southern Oregon as well as an ecommerce platform. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team and support our marketing efforts across various channels.

Job Description:

As a Marketing Assistant at Fasteners Inc Tool Outlet, you will play a crucial role in executing and managing our marketing campaigns. You will work closely with our marketing director to ensure our brand message is effectively communicated to our target audience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor In-store marketing efforts:

    • Coordinate the ordering of signs for delivery to respective markets.

    • Ensure that signage is installed correctly and on schedule.

    • Confirm the delivery of all marketing materials.

  • Email/SMS Campaign Management:

    • Plan and schedule email and SMS content ahead of send dates.

    • Write compelling copy for email and SMS campaigns.

    • Create new audience segments based on data and monitor subscriber information.

    • Ensure all eligible customers are included in each segment.

  • Marketing Optimization and Integration:

    • Identify and implement strategies to increase email and SMS sign-ups.

    • Work with Account Executives to purchase media.

    • Explore and integrate new tools and platforms to enhance campaign performance.

    • Organize and keep track of marketing efforts using project management software

Other General Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the design team to create marketing collateral, including flyers, brochures, and social media graphics.

  • Manage and update the company’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent and engaging content.

  • Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating promotional events and trade shows.

  • Maintain and update the marketing database and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

  • Support the marketing director in day-to-day administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably with email and SMS campaign management as well as paid media buying.

  • Strong copywriting skills with an ability to create engaging and persuasive content.

  • Proficient in using marketing tools such as Shopify, Attentive, and other CRM platforms.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
