This position is responsible for ensuring staffing coverage, supervision of employees and staff training compliance.
Essential job functions include:
- Hire, train, supervise, evaluate and address concerns with team members as they arise, while upholding professional and supportive communication.
- Must be reliable, trustworthy and a self-starter.
- Ensure person-centered activities that provide opportunities to fulfill their dreams, wishes and interests.
- Promote community integration and social activities.
- Respect the basic needs of people supported to assist with cultivating relationships.
- Assist with finances, home and vehicle maintenance, safety and oversight of community and residential settings.
- Oversee that documentation and charting is updated and organized.
- Model and teach intervention techniques developed and recommended by the behavioral health team.
- Effectively communicates with families, guardians and team members to ensure quality service delivery.

Essential Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years' leadership experience supporting people with IDD in their homes and surrounding community.
- 2 to 3 years' experience as a Direct Support Professional.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving background.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy required.
Manager Role:
- Supported Living Program (SLP) Tues/Wed 10-6pm; Thurs.11-6pm; Fri 9-6pm; Sat. 8-4pm = 40 hours
Assistant Manager Roles (Residential):
- Warwick: Sun/Mon 8-3pm; Tues/Wed/Thurs 3-10pm = 35 hours
- Johnston: Sun/Mon/Tues & Every Other Sat 10am-8pm = Every Other week is 30 hours Opposite week is 40 hours
- Cranston: Sun 8-3pm; Mon 8-2pm; Tues/Thurs 3-10pm; Wed 1-10pm = 35 hours
- Cranston: Tues 1-10pm; Wed 3-10pm; Thurs 8-3pm; Fri 8-1pm; Sat 8-8pm = 40 hours
Pay Rates:
- Manager $25.00
- Assistant Manager $23.00
- Weekend Differential - $1.00/hourly
