Doorman / Security

GOLDLEAF is seeking a Part-time Doorman/Security role at our luxury medical cannabis dispensary located in Annapolis. This position is first and foremost a customer service-oriented Doorman position. We're looking for someone with exceptional customer service and attention to detail.


Responsibilities include:

  • Greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome.
  • Man the front door at all times and open the door for every single patient coming and going from the dispensary.
  • Escort patients/guests to and from their vehicles when necessary.
  • Assist with any security concerns.
  • Patrol building and parking lot as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Interact with the public in a professional manner when providing assistance, giving directions and responding to inquiries.
  • Assist with customer disputes, intoxicated subjects, criminal matters.
  • Resolve complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer to management
  • Notify supervisor, manager of any unusual events, incidents or crimes
  • Assist in response to medical or fire emergencies, such as sick or injured guests.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for (8) hours at a time.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to provide the highest level of service to patients and guests.
  • Willingness to work as part of a close team to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver's License Required.
  • Must be able to pass background check.
  • Must be 21 years old or older.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
