Occupancy Heroes Incorporated is currently hiring multifamily PLACEMENT SPECIALISTS / RECRUITERS to join our expanding team.

The Placement Specialist is responsible for the following:

1) Candidate recruitment and retention

  • Recruit promotable local and national multifamily corporate, office and maintenance professionals; interview and identify temporary, project and temporary-to-hire opportunities for these candidates.

2) Placement activities

  • Select qualified candidates to fulfill client job orders and maintain ongoing contact with both the client and our employee to ensure a successful relationship.
  • Resolve any customer service issues quickly and efficiently to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong Marketing Skills
  • Recruiting, Hiring and Staffing Experience preferred
  • Sales experience is a Must
  • Excellent written & communication skills as well as computer experience REQUIRED
  • Ability to cultivate and build relationships: Placement Specialists must cultivate and build relationships with the candidates we recruit.
  • Social Skills: Effective communication skills for interacting with executives, middle level managers, employees, job candidates and the general public are crucial for a PLACEMENT SPECIALIST. This job requires working well with people of diverse backgrounds, knowing how to represent Occupancy Heroes Incorporated in a positive manner. A PLACEMENT SPECIALIST will handle onboarding paperwork.
  • Solid Judgement: Hiring managers depends on PLACEMENT SPECIALIST to help recruit a qualified pool of applicants for a vacancy. PLACEMENT SPECIALIST must analyze job postings and suggest improvements so that more qualified candidates will apply. Good reading comprehension and analysis skills are a must in order to properly review job candidates and weed out those who lack the minimum qualifications.
  • Quantitative Skills: PLACEMENT SPECIALIST will have to perform specialized computer tasks using spreadsheets, databases, graphic presentation programs and Web-based applications. The PLACEMENT SPECIALIST will have to administer job-qualification tests, such as maintenance exams and fair housing exams.
  • Strong Follow-up Skills: PLACEMENT SPECIALIST must follow-up with both the client and the candidates before and after interviews and placements.
  • Personable and approachable: PLACEMENT SPECIALIST must be personable and approachable in order to connect with the client and the candidate.
  • Sales Skills: PLACEMENT SPECIALIST sales their clients on candidates and candidates on opportunities.
  • Technology: PLACEMENT SPECIALIST are required to have a computer, a quiet space, and strong internet to perform their duties.
