Position Summary/Objective

The Central & Southern Ohio Account Specialist is responsible for leading and optimizing the organization's wholesale capabilities in all applicable markets. This position supports and consults with numerous groups and departments throughout Ethos and will work closely with Marketing, Cultivation, Compliance, and/or Legal. The Account Specialist will develop and execute strategies to exceed revenue targets through business development by identifying new prospects and opportunities in the market. This individual will represent Ethos' brands and promote our products and values across applicable markets through education, events, supporting wholesale partners staff. As an Account Specialist, you will be responsible for creating positive brand experiences and activations, creating and strengthening relationships with both new and existing customers. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue, elevating brand visibility, market analysis and fostering customer loyalty with the Central and Southern Ohio regions.

The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to our business model and has demonstrated leadership, as this position will have responsibility for market analysis and supporting strategic business decisions. Previous cannabis experience is required with contacts within applicable markets preferred.


Responsibilities

  • Strategize, set, and achieve (even exceed) sales goals
  • Possess a strong knowledge of cannabis and different product lines
  • Educate, engage, and train all customers & teams on Ethos Cannabis brands and product lines to sell through a product mix or portfolio of goods customized for the retail location and their customer
  • Collaborate across departments within the organization to align development goals
  • Maintain an awareness of market behavior, knowledge of all aspects of the industry and sales trends, the competition and ability to communicate and drive a successful sales model that responds, accordingly
  • Analysis market trends resulting in optimization of sales strategies
  • Proactively builds touchpoints and a weekly road schedule to keep the market sales on track to hit all sales quotas and goals by building partnerships and trust
  • Set efficient delivery and order fulfillment deadlines, and manage expectations with the internal team, as well as the customers
  • Provide input to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth through networking and market analysis
  • Track and report customers' preferences. Provide feedback and reports to Marketing and Sales departments regarding customer requests and event outcomes for brand engagement
  • Act as the face and voice of our brand, embodying our values and mission.
  • Display a deep understanding of our products, their benefits, and their uses to effectively educate patients.
  • Support the sales team in the field through; including but not limited to, dispensary visits, industry events, brand engagement distribution within customer accounts
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback
  • Identify, strengthen and nurture relationships with key influencers, budtenders, and industry professionals to increase brand visibility and product recommendations
  • Collaborate across sales and marketing teams to develop and execute promotional strategies and campaigns
  • Execution of in-store display presence
  • Provide post-event reports to Director & VP of Wholesale
  • Represent the brand at trade shows within applicable market, conferences, and other industry events to expand awareness
  • Reports to the Director of Wholesale

Qualifications Education:

  • College degree strongly preferred

Work Experience:

  • 1+ years of Wholesale & Brand Account experience
  • 1+ years in sales, brand visual, negotiating, relationship management/customer service, inventory management/systems, and logistics
  • In-depth knowledge of cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, and emerging industry trends
  • Work history that demonstrates stability, progressive responsibility, and willingness to accept new duties

  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience· Diligence to manage various accounts, market brand execution opportunities, projects, and multiple systems
  • Demonstrated process-oriented skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, drive revenue
  • Highly organized with an attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer usage including all MS Office applications, HubSpot, scheduling software, online conferencing, Social Media brand engagement
  • Ability to develop, analyze, and interpret key performance metrics, and read, analyze, and interpret reports relating to performance metrics
  • Strong problem-solving skills including proactive thinking and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm composure
  • Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively within a diverse, multicultural, multigenerational environment

Other Requirements:

  • Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible
  • Must pass stringent state background test requirements
  • Significant amount of time traveling through Central & Southern OH
  • Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record with desire to execute road visits multiple days in a week

Compensation:

  • This position is classified as Exempt and is not eligible for overtime pay.
  • This is a remote position with a significant amount of travel required.
