This full-time position offers a flexible schedule within our set hours. You'll be working Monday through Thursday from 8am to 7pm, and Friday from 8am to 2pm. Enjoy your weekends off while maintaining a great work-life balance
As a Medical Assistant specializing in wound care, you will start your day in the office but spend most of your time providing mobile wound care. Your day will involve conducting initial patient assessments, evaluating and measuring wounds, and meticulously documenting your findings. You will assist healthcare providers with wound dressing changes, wound debridement, and other specialized procedures. Patient education is a key part of your role, as you will guide patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and preventive measures. Collaboration with your healthcare team is essential to ensure comprehensive patient care. You will drive a company vehicle to various patient locations, ensuring providers have the necessary support to focus on documentation and treatment planning.
OUR IDEAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT
- Medical assistant certification OR 2+ years of medical assistant experience
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with EHR systems
