Job Summary

Assist the Batching Department with the administrative operations of ingredient handling with the primary focus on data entry, audit prep, and support. Coordinating with corporate teams/customers on outbound and inbound raw material loads.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify raw material loads from all inbound/outbound shipments coming from outside facilities and vendors.
  • Spreadhead investigations into ingredient variances and all data gathering.
  • Collect data and post for all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs for shift and team performance.
  • Support the daily inventory, storage, and movement of all batching ingredients.
  • Responsible for data entry on all required tracking spreadsheets.
  • Assist with all raw material inventories and adjustments.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper stock rotation.
  • Monitor and control P.O./Returned Material Adjustment material receipts.
  • Generate pallet tags for inbound raw materials.
  • Assist with training of salaried and hourly employees relating to raw materials.
  • Communicate as needed with corporate and customers to ensure all material needs are met.
  • Assist in enforcing policies to stay within internal, federal, state, and local regulations. Responsible for compliance with GMP, fire codes, insurance guidelines, sanitation, pest control, safety, O.S.H.A., F.D.A., and T.T.B.
  • Assist the supervisor with the creation, implementation, and adherence of all batching SOPs and policies, associated with the ingredient handling process.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, and material handling environments.
  • Team oriented.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills preferred.
  • WMS experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, and be highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, accurate decisions.
  • Inventory experience preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working evenings and nights.
