JOB DESCRIPTION:
"The Procurement Operation (PO) department develops service providers to anticipate structural Service Provider issues resolution and secure the supply chain delivery targets for steep production ramp up.
It directly ensures:
● End to End Supply Chain process management with integrated Procurement Officers and Service Provider Development teams to accelerate on time/ on quality delivery of Service Providers
● Adherence to Supply Chain management defined standards across all commodities
● Troubleshooting of supply chain deviations, maximizing the empowerment of the teams in the plant
● Escalation to MFTs and / or Programmes for all other deviations
● Escalation to the P Community Leaders to mobilize experts on recovery plans
● Monitor Service Provider deviations against contract standards and provide insights for counter claims

In order to accomplish these tasks, PO
● is responsible for both the ""Supply Process” and the ""Control suppliers"" process, actively contributing to the definition of the standard (including process definition, change management, support and coaching).
● leads the trans PO projects by harmonizing and standardizing processes supported by adequate information systems, methods, skills and training.
● monitors and reports supply chain performances.

The current Service Provider landscape in the domain is fragmented, with many contracts, each with a different governance, different service levels. As such, Airbus would like to streamline this perimeter by contracting one complete bundle to external Service Providers.
In addition, this initiative is an opportunity for Airbus to obtain improvement in several axes:
● Significant cost reduction,
● Transparent and aligned management,
● Standardized way of working in this business area
● Industrialized project developments fully aligned with the LBIP,
● Improved activity forecasting based on an established catalogue of service,
● Faster project deliveries, and in particular a shorter purchasing cycle,
● Reduced knowledge dependency and improved continuity of service during low activity periods,
● Stable service level independently of activity level variation,
● Improved visibility on the service level

The aircraft manager will be responsible for :

● Contain issues and business impacts
● Solve problems
● Accelerate deliveries and reduce missing parts
● Quickly fix quality issues
● Sustain improvements and performances

It is a versatile job, where multiple skills are required :
- Engineer degree
- Experience in Supply Chain, FAL, Manufacturing or Quality
- At least 7 years experiment in the domain
- strong communication and interpersonal relations skills
- strong ability to manage your priorities and overcome setbacks
- Mastering the techniques of industrial engineering + lean
- high level of initiative, are autonomous, innovator and practical
