EXPERIENCE

A minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ experience managing and implementing data solutions in Financial Services or a combination of relevant experience and equivalent education normally required.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for managing the organization’s data and determining and implementing enterprise data solutions and services. This is a hands-on role with the scope of establishing our data integration strategy, data mining and data consumption structures.

Ability to develop a strategic vision for enterprise data and tactically execute that vision, while dealing with the demands of a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties

  • Collaborate with technology and business leaders to build and manage both operational and enterprise business intelligence for the Bank.
  • Performs data analysis duties to support data servicing functions, of which the following duties are illustrative:
  1. Selects and implements a data warehouse solution.
  2. Collaborates with various department leaders to provide business intelligence solutions to assist with decision making.
  3. Establishes a Data Review Board to manage the data road map, governance, quality and security.
  4. Manages data life cycle and owns the Master Data Dictionary.
  5. Develops data dashboards to enable business decisions.
  6. Facilitates the centralization of data knowledge utilizing cross-functional SMEs inputs to ensure requirements and solution validation.
  7. Conducts full lifecycle analyses to include requirements, activities, and design.
  • Designs comprehensive data reports and other business tools to present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of sexual harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management, overall safety and soundness, and the bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
  • Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the unit or department as well as with other units and departments in order to insure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
  • Complies with established operating policies and procedures in order to maintain adequate controls and to support the Bank's adherence to outside regulatory requirements.
  • Communicates with management and staff personnel in order to integrate goals and activities.
  • Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel.
  • Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other bank personnel, customers, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
  • Maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports.

ANCILLARY DUTIES

  • Performs multiple tasks, duties, and jobs throughout the division, department, or unit in a way that permits the Enterprise Data Analytics Specialist to be assigned to various activities, depending upon the characteristics and volume of the work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs to move through the different floors of the location.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than two-thirds of the time.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to accomplish tasks.
  • Occasionally adjust or move objects in all directions.

  • Must be able to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
