As the Inventory Analyst Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels, creating accurate monthly inventory reports, recording the in and out of items, and labeling inventory items. The role of an inventory analyst encompasses various responsibilities, including managing inventory and allocating resources, coordinating with logistics operations, documenting inventory cycle counts and discrepancies, analyzing inventory data to enhance efficiency and warehouse capacity. This individual interacts with Planning, Quality Control, R&D, Shipping and Receiving, Maintenance, Management, Purchasing, and external Customers and Auditors. About 40% of the workday will typically occur in a warehouse while tracking items, parts, and products.

Key competencies: Statistics and Data Analysis Skills, Communication & Presentation Skills, Mathematical Skills, Cycle Counting, Inventory Management, Forecasting, Microsoft Excel, Detail Oriented.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support ERP system.
  • Manage Cycle Count in MES
  • Create Stock Transfer Orders for transfers of materials at our increasing rate between all four (4) sites and external warehouses.
  • Cycle count packaging
  • Analyze stock discrepancies between MES and SAP
  • Research all variance codes in association with inventory movements
  • Communicate with Production, Logistics, and Quality on process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain accuracy in relation to “work in process” locations
  • Process all “Gimme More” Requests for R&D
  • Report inventory levels and issues to management
  • Create reports that indicating available inventory and issues with inventory counts
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school diploma
  • Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience with WMS & ERP systems a plus.
  • Minimum 2-year experience in a shipping/receiving warehouse environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
