Job description: #IND
- Engaging in full service dental assisting for all areas of dental clinical practice, including specialty areas such as restorative, oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthetics.
- Preparing treatment area, dental instruments, materials, and medications for procedures.
- Passing instruments safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Keeping the operative field clear of debris, including the use of irrigation and aspiration, and retracting oral tissues effectively and comfortably
Education and Experience
Individuals providing dental assistant services under the contract award must meet one of the following requirements:
1. Experience: Six months experience that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work, or provides familiarity with the work, described within this document; or
2. Education: Successful completion of a 1-year dental assistant program accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA); or
3. Experience/Education Combination: Equivalent combinations of experience and education are qualifying.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 40hrs schedule (0600 and 180)
