The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and litigation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case intake, investigation, and management from inception to resolution.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on case status and answering any questions or concerns.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Assist with the discovery process, including gathering and organizing evidence, responding to discovery requests, and coordinating depositions.
  • Prepare and file documents with the court, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witness appearances, and creating trial binders.
  • Obtain, review, and summarize medical records and bills, and communicate with medical providers.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations to support case strategy.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and managing case files.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience actively managing litigation and trial support in a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm, Florida court experience required.
  • Proficient with case management software, Filevine a strong plus.
  • Detail-oriented and works with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
