ABOUT BALTIMORE COUNTRY CLUB
Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is nearly 3,000 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A STAFF CAFETERIA CHEF
As a Staff Cafeteria Chef at Baltimore Country Club, you are a major component that keeps the whole club running The Club is proud to offer great benefits to our staff which makes working fun, and creates a place where coworkers feel like family. In this role, your passion for food allows you to come up with new and exciting ideas for our staff, allowing them to be well fueled throughout each day. This position will provide lunch and dinner daily with additional options such as salads, soups, or sides.

In addition to the proper preparation of food, you ensure its properly stored and handled. You inspect food prep and serving areas regularly to ensure safe, sanitary food-handling practices. You love the camaraderie that comes with working as part of a cohesive culinary team in a tightly-run kitchen. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you are never bored, and time goes by quickly.

QUALIFICATIONS
At least two years of culinary experience in a fast-paced environment; High school diploma or equivalent; Food handlers card; Experience with a variety of dining venues such as fine dining, buffets, grill stations, and/ or display cooking. Experience working in a Country Club or fine dining experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
