Job Description:

As a Licensed HVAC Technician at Sparkling Craft Inc., you will be pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your role will involve installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems, ensuring that our clients experience comfort, efficiency, and safety in their HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HVAC System Installation and Repair:

    • Install and upgrade HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork, adhering to industry best practices and manufacturer specifications.
    • Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues, such as mechanical failures, electrical problems, and refrigerant leaks, providing prompt and effective solutions.
    • Upgrade or replace components of existing systems to enhance efficiency and performance, ensuring long-term reliability.

  2. Routine HVAC Maintenance:

    • Conduct regular maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting HVAC components to prevent system failures and extend equipment life.
    • Perform system inspections to identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures or necessary repairs.
    • Test HVAC systems to ensure they meet performance standards and operate at peak efficiency.

  3. Advanced Troubleshooting:

    • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot complex HVAC problems, pinpointing root causes and implementing effective solutions.
    • Provide expert technical support to clients on HVAC system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency improvements.
    • Maintain detailed records of service activities, including repairs, maintenance tasks, and recommendations for future reference.

  4. Compliance and Safety Assurance:

    • Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards to ensure safe and compliant HVAC work.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory updates to incorporate best practices into your work.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following company policies for equipment handling, storage, and disposal.

  5. Cost Estimation and Documentation:

    • Prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC services and repairs.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive records of materials used and service activities to ensure clear documentation.

  6. Client Relations:

    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through timely and effective issue resolution and professional customer service.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to address their HVAC needs and offer solutions that align with their preferences.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, with a strong background in installation, repair, and maintenance of heating and cooling systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment, components, and controls, including refrigeration principles and electrical systems.
  • Must possess own tools and transportation, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a capability to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
