About the role:

Mollie Stone's Markets is looking for a Full-Time Warehouse Clerk for our Produce Distribution Center’s Warehouse (located in San Francisco's Produce Terminal). The right candidate will be committed to our mission, vision and values, be flexible working on various tasks and available to work the graveyard shift from 10:30 pm-7:30 am.

 This is a full-time, hourly/non-exempt position.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs various operations, including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory within our Produce Distribution Center (PDC) warehouse.
  • Takes direction to maintain optimum quality and flow of receiving. 
  • Operates various merchandise handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures.
  • Participates and maintains a safe and healthy workplace environment in the warehouse.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of Warehouse Clerk experience, or related experience.
  • Possess a valid CA Driver's License (No special class required)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Specialized Warehouse training and/or Certification.
  • Ability to drive a bobtail truck.
  • Ability to serve as a back-up driver for South San Francisco pick-ups and city store distribution/deliveries as needed.

Competencies:

  • Reliable and acts with integrity.
  • Knowledge of Produce merchandise.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated discipline and professionalism.

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Able to work in wet and cold conditions.
  • Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
  • Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
  • Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.

Pay range:

$19-$25 per hour depending on industry experience.
