THE INS AND OUTS OF THE ROLE

This full-time position works a schedule of 5-10's (five days a week, 10-hour shifts). You'll be working onsite, ensuring our projects stay on track and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

As a General Laborer - Heavy Equipment Operator, your day kicks off early as you step onto the job site, ready to operate a range of heavy equipment like forklifts, tela-handlers, and skid steers. You move materials, dig trenches, and prepare the site for our electricians to do their work. When the machines are idle, you pitch in with general labor tasks-lifting, digging, and keeping the site clean and organized. Safety is always your top priority, and you make sure your equipment is in perfect working order. Every day, you're part of a team that takes pride in getting the job done right.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven equipment operating experience
  • Ability to perform general labor tasks, including physical lifting and moving of materials
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and equipment maintenance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good driving record
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CDL
  • MSHA and OSHA certifications
  • Experience in industrial construction
  • Basic mechanical skills for minor equipment repairs
