Job DescriptionJob Description

We are actively working to fill an Analog Electrical Design Engineer job, at the Principal and Staff level, to provide design solutions and technical support for challenging projects in space-based EO/IR systems. In this role, you will contribute to the development of complex high-reliability electrical designs for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions on various platforms operating in harsh space environments.

*Due to the nature of this job, and the requirement to be able to fulfill Secret Clearance, US Citizenship is a requirement of the role.

Analog Electrical Design Engineer Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-reliability analog electrical designs for critical space and military applications.
  • Lead electrical engineering support for flight mission applications and ground validation/testing activities.
  • Perform original electrical design, including complex analog design, simulation, and system/component modeling.
  • Conduct worst-case circuit performance/functional analysis over mission life and environment extremes.
  • Collaborate with program teams to develop design concepts and perform trades.
  • Prepare and present material for formal design reviews and customer meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (MS preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience as an Analog Electrical Engineer on space programs.
  • Proven capability in lead electrical design and original conceptual design.
  • Experience in writing/deriving requirements and creating verification plans.
  • Expertise in high-reliability space systems, DoD airborne & ground systems, and government military programs (preferred).
  • Familiarity with electro-optical instruments, focal planes, power electronics, and motor drive design.
  • Proficient in using standard electrical engineering analysis and documentation software (e.g., PSPICE, Matlab, Mathcad).
