Logistics & Materials Specialist

Great Lakes Roofing is seeking a Logistics & Materials Specialist who will drive customer satisfaction and share responsibility for warehouse functions in our Material & Equipment Division.

This unique hybrid role will balance time between both office responsibilities and forklift/warehouse time. To fulfill this key leadership role, you'll know the details about each job your Crew is managing. 

The successful individual must be well organized, possess strong task-shifting capabilities, and be able to think decisively on their feet.

Typical work week is full-time Monday – Friday, from 6a – 3p. Your office is on-site at our Germantown, WI corporate headquarters. Pay begins at $23 - $26/hr, DOE.

Logistics & Materials Specialist Responsibilities:

· Management of per-project resources, coordinate & schedule third-party contractors

· Interact with clients on scheduling the previously mentioned details

· Ensure all subcontractor & vendor billings are accurate, recorded & within project controls

· Confirm the accuracy of both individual and organizational recordkeeping

· Manage and order inventory in accordance with seasonal needs

· Monitor both fleet activities and maintenance; coordinate maintenance schedules and record each.

· Answer emails and phones; copy, scan & fax documents along with other administrative tasks as needed

Logistics & Materials Specialist Qualifications:

• Possess excellent organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrable 3+ years of experience in construction project management, or similar
• Ability to strategically think through initiatives, issues and opportunities while contemplating unintended consequences
• Forklift certified and comfortable driving one both in a warehouse setting and outdoors
• Able to climb/use a 40' ladder and work at a height
