Position: Travel Medical Technician -MRI, CT, CVOR, X-Ray, Cath Lab, Mammography
Location: Knoxville and Memphis, TN
Various Schedules: AM & PM Shifts

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and operate X-ray machines and related imaging equipment to capture clear and accurate diagnostic images.
  • Adjust settings on the X-ray machine, such as exposure time and radiation dose, to optimize image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation.
  • Explain the X-ray procedure to patients, ensuring they understand the process and what is expected of them.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images, using immobilization devices if necessary to prevent movement.
  • Provide protective gear, such as lead aprons, to shield patients from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Take multiple images from different angles as required by the physician or radiologist, ensuring that all relevant anatomy is captured clearly.
  • Monitor the patient during the procedure to ensure their comfort and safety, adjusting positioning as needed to obtain the best possible images.
  • Review images for clarity, contrast, and proper positioning, ensuring that they meet diagnostic requirements before submitting them to the radiologist or physician for interpretation.
  • Repeat X-rays if necessary, making adjustments to equipment settings or patient positioning to improve image quality.

Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Must be willing to relocate to State and Location of Assignment. This is a Travel Medical Technician position.
Must have Certification applicable to the Medical Technician Specilaity
