Per IRS Section 501(r)(3) a tax-exempt hospital must complete a Community Health Needs Assessment every 3 years. The client asked if we could prepare the CHNA in addition to the agreed upon scope of the Strategic Market Analysis and Physician Needs Assessment. The hospital's Community Relations Director usually is responsible for the CHNA.
So, what I am looking for is someone with experience assembling CHNAs who can piggyback off of the data and analysis that we will be assembling to do our engagement. The CHNA needs to be complete by end of Q3 (9.30)
