Case Manager - Child and Adolescent Mental Health

What matters most

To excel as a Case Manager at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Services such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling and have at least one year of experience in case management services. A valid Virginia Driver's License is required for this role, as it may involve off-site client visits and community outreach. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations are essential for building client trust and rapport. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently will enable successful coordination of services and resources for our needy clients.

The knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling)
  • One (1) year experience in case management services.
  • Valid Virginia Driver's License.
