Job Title: Armed Security Guard (Patrol)

Position Type: Part-time
Pay: $20-22 an hour
Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday: 6pm-2am
THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Armed Security Guard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our client's gas stations in Anaheim, CA. This role involves patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding to any suspicious activities or emergencies. The ideal candidate will have excellent observational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol Duties:

    • Conduct regular patrols of the gas station premises, including buildings, parking lots, and surrounding areas.
    • Monitor and inspect the site for any signs of suspicious activities or security breaches.
    • GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND PATROL ON FOOT.

  • Surveillance:

    • Operate and monitor surveillance equipment to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.
    • Review and report any unusual occurrences captured by the surveillance systems.

  • Incident Response:

    • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, ensuring the safety of customers and employees.
    • Detain suspects and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.

  • Customer Service:

    • Provide assistance and support to customers and employees, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve any security-related issues.

  • Documentation:

    • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
    • Prepare and submit incident reports as required.

  • Compliance:

    • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with all state and local laws regarding armed security operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
  • Valid California Firearms Permit.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Clean criminal record and ability to pass a background check.
