Duties:
- Monitor patient condition by observing physical and mental well-being, intake and output, and exercise, ensuring timely reporting to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services, as well as assist with grocery shopping and meal preparation, to promote a safe and healthy environment.
- Assist patients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining their dignity and respect.
- Teach patients and their families how to safely lift, turn, and re-position patients, as well as provide guidance on nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
- Record patient information in the patient journal and notify the nursing supervisor of any changes or unusual conditions.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to asepsis standards and procedures, as well as following prescribed dietary requirements and nutrition standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments by participating in educational opportunities and adhering to professional standards and home care policies.
