Summary:
Courtyard Nashville Smyrna is seeking a diligent and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned to the highest standards. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Laundry Operations:
    • Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest laundry according to hotel standards.
    • Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Ensure proper handling and care of all fabrics to prevent damage.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report needs to the supervisor.
    • Assist in maintaining an organized and clean laundry area.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect linens and towels for stains, tears, and wear; report any damage to the supervisor.
    • Ensure all cleaned items meet hotel standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred.
    • Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning products.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
