ROUTE ASSITANT JOB DESCRIPTION - GRENADA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Route Assistant. The ideal candidate will assist our drivers with the transportation and delivery of goods along designated routes. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist drivers with loading and unloading goods onto delivery vehicles.
  2. Navigate designated routes and provide directions to drivers as needed.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
  4. Ensure all goods are securely stored and handled in accordance with company policies.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and storage areas.
  6. Communicate with customers and provide exceptional service during deliveries.
  7. Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Valid Class A commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
  3. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  4. Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
  5. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  6. Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  7. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
