Kindergarten Teacher Key Responsibilities:
1.Curriculum and Instruction:
oImplement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
oFoster a love of learning through creative and engaging teaching methods
oObserve and assess children's development and adjust activities accordingly
oUp to date with state standards and benchmarks
2.Classroom Management:
oCreate a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
oManage daily routines and transitions smoothly
oAddress behavioral issues with positive guidance and support
3.Family Communication:
oMaintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
oConduct parent-teacher conferences and provide regular updates
oEncourage family involvement and participation in school activities
4.Health and Safety:
oEnsure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas
oAdhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
oSupervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
5.Professional Development:
oParticipate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
oStay current with best practices in early childhood education
oCollaborate with other teachers and staff to share ideas and strategies

Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education
