Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Provide direction and oversight for all functions and activities within the facilities management departments, including Engineering, Plant Operations, and Facilities Management.
Client Relationship Management: Ensure client satisfaction and account retention through exceptional internal and external customer relations.
Facilities Operations: Oversee the safe and efficient functioning of buildings, equipment, machinery, and systems across multiple properties.
Construction and Renovation: Coordinate and direct design, review, and specifications of construction and remodel projects. Negotiate contracts and manage budgets.
Compliance and Readiness: Ensure compliance with TJC, Life Safety, OSHA, and all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain readiness for emergencies and ensure proper documentation.
What You’ll Do:
Plan and Maintain Facilities: Improve and maintain both owned and leased facilities, ensuring all systems are operational and safe.
Lead and Inspire: Provide vision and strategic leadership for department growth, long-range planning, and program development.
Manage Budgets: Establish and manage budgets, control expenditures, and meet productivity targets.
Oversee Contractors and Staff: Ensure efficient management of skilled trades, contractors, and all facilities staff. Maintain a constant state of readiness across all properties.

Requirements
Must Haves:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in management, with a proven track record in facilities management, engineering, or business/operations services.
Facilities Management: At least 7 years overseeing both soft and hard facilities services, with a focus on healthcare environments.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and align the client’s vision with organizational goals.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of facilities systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utility) and regulatory compliance (TJC, OSHA, Life Safety).
Project Management: Experience managing construction and renovation projects, including design review, contract negotiation, and budget management.
Compliance Readiness: Proven ability to maintain a constant state of readiness for emergencies and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
