Psychiatrist - Reproductive Maternal Mental Health

The Hoag Specialty Clinic is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join a growing team of Maternal Mental Health Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioner and Therapists at our beautiful Newport Beach and Irvine locations. This is a role that includes clinical time and protected administrative time.
Responsibilities
- The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluations for Hoag patients in the outpatient setting in person or via synchronous telehealth.
- Provide expert consultations for admitted maternity patients at Hoag Hospital’s Newport Beach and Irvine campuses.
- 2 days/week with no weekend coverage required. Approximate hours 8am-5pm.
- Growing program with support from Hoag Women’s Health Institute.
Requirements
- Board Certification - or Board eligible - in Psychiatry with experience in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
- Specialty training in Perinatal & Reproductive Psychiatry
- MD or DO degree, and completion of ACGME accredited residency in Psychiatry
- Active, unrestricted California Medical License, or eligible for California State Medical Licensure
- Active DEA license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting and a passion for providing excellent clinical care
