At Care Network facilities, employees are expected to embrace a versatile role that often extends beyond traditional job descriptions. In addition to performing the primary resident care duties, staff members may be asked to assist with various other tasks including caregiving, cooking, or housekeeping to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents. This collaborative approach requires flexibility, a willingness to adapt, and a commitment to providing comprehensive support across different areas. Candidates should be prepared to contribute to multiple aspects of facility operations and assist wherever needed to create a positive and enriching environment for our residents.


Job Description:

  • Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff
  • Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff
  • Assist with meal service and feeding residents as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing linens, making beds, and tidying up resident living areas
  • Participate in resident activities and socialization opportunities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
  • Other duties as assigned including caregiving, cooking, or housekeeping
Requirements:
  • Valid certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is required in the state of practice
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous experience in residential care facility or assisted living setting is preferred
