Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Venture Capital Recruiter to lead the recruitment efforts for our portfolio companies and internal teams. This role is critical in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent in the startup and venture capital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the venture capital and startup communities, with a proven ability to fill high-impact roles quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies tailored to the unique needs of venture capital firms and portfolio companies.
  • Source and engage top talent for a variety of roles, including C-suite executives, investment professionals, and key operational positions within startups.
  • Partner with portfolio companies to understand their hiring needs and provide strategic advice on talent acquisition.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, negotiating offers, and onboarding candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a network of professionals in the startup and venture capital communities.
  • Utilize innovative sourcing methods to identify passive candidates and maintain a robust talent pipeline.
  • Stay current with trends in the venture capital and startup ecosystems to anticipate hiring needs and challenges.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support recruiting efforts for the venture capital firm's internal roles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's or advanced HR certification preferred).
  • Significant experience in recruiting for venture capital firms, startups, or high-growth environments.
  • Strong understanding of the venture capital ecosystem, startup culture, and the unique challenges of hiring in this space.
  • Extensive network within the venture capital and startup communities.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting for executive and specialized roles in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
