We’re looking for skilled and compassionate physician assistants and nurse practitioners to join our team. Our recruiting team works with several low-volume hospitals and staffs their emergency, hospital, and urgent care departments.
Your primary responsibilities include:
• In addition to interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories, you will assess the patient's health.
• In-patient and departmental records will be charted to document patient care services.
• Administering care in a small detox unit in one of our hospitals. Suboxone training is required.
• Holding an ACLS certification is required and up-to-date license to practice medicine in New York State.

• Additional paid expense account - $25,000

• Our group covers: malpractice and tail coverage. Open to a W2 or 1099 arrangement.

About Us:
In 1995, emergency physicians Drs. Jay Ellie and Frank Edwards developed an emergency department staffing model that focused on needs of small community hospitals in western New York. Both practitioners recognized the growing gap between available services from larger staffing vendors and smaller community hospitals. This is where Delphi Healthcare and locum tenens medical partners began. A key focus of Delphi Healthcare is to find talented providers for rural, underserved community hospitals. Our locum tenens medical partners division partners with other community hospitals around the northeast to fill temporary and permanent positions.
