Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for an AOI-Visual Inspector to join our team in our Leesburg, VA location EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare.

Job Description:
The position of AOI-Visual Inspector is responsible for performing the function of operating and/or programming of surface mount AOI equipment.
  • Operating AOI machine
  • Performing visual inspection of SMT assemblies
  • Cross trained for in-process and final inspection as needed

Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Experience with computer software is highly desirable
  • Six months or more experience with SMT functions or automated equipment is highly desirable. Further on the job training will be provided
  • Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 is preferred
  • Component identification, ability to read, follow rules/instructions, understand basic circuit assembly processes
  • Must be able to read assembly documentation
  • Work well with others as a team
  • Strong attention to detail and neatness
  • Interface with process engineering to identify/resolve problems
  • Ability to follow established ISO processes

Working Conditions:
Electronics Assembly Manufacturing environment.
Overtime is expected when necessary
9/80 work schedule, with every other Friday off
First shift: 6:00 am - 3:30 pm
