The Financial Analyst I assists in all functions, including reporting, of the organization’s financial operations.


Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst with expertise in Healthcare Finance. The ideal candidate will excel in statistical analysis, advanced Excel functions, and possess a thorough understanding of industry-specific financial concepts. This role involves data compilation, analysis, and generating actionable recommendations to improve financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance financial figures and ensure data accuracy.
  • Compile and analyze reports, statistics, and financial documents.
  • Input and proofread data in computer programs.
  • Conduct research and gather financial information.
  • Prepare graphical data representations and dashboards for 18 cost centers.
  • Participate in industry surveys and report data to agencies.
  • Track and verify cost data for new systems, measure ROI, and analyze changes in physician production.
  • Calculate cost per Mid-Level Practitioner versus production.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvement projects.
  • Manage the Q12 budget.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong statistical analysis and data compilation skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables, analytics, and functions.
  • Understanding of Healthcare Finance concepts such as wRVUs, pay tiers, insurance processing, and collections.
  • Experience in preparing financial reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to analyze and verify financial documents for accuracy.
  • Competence in process improvement and financial efficiency.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
