Overview
Join a high-growth business in Provo, Utah, as a proactive and detail-oriented M&A, Business Development professional. In this pivotal role, you will execute the company's acquisition strategy, focusing on due diligence, brand management, and financial analysis to ensure seamless transitions. You'll work closely with C-level executives and industry professionals, creatively overcoming obstacles and managing complex relationships to drive successful acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Lead Comprehensive Due Diligence: Conduct thorough financial analysis, collaborate with legal counsel, and manage due diligence efforts to ensure informed decision-making.
- Drive Informed Investment Strategies: Provide updates on the acquisition pipeline, lead discussions with the Investment Committee, and secure support for strategic acquisitions.
- Manage Acquisition Process & Pipeline: Oversee due diligence efforts, develop financial models, and manage multiple opportunities concurrently to achieve targets.
- Secure Investment Approval: Develop valuation models and deliver presentations to secure board support for acquisitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees in finance or business are beneficial.
- 7+ years of M&A experience, preferably in transaction services or lead advisory roles.
- Proven track record of managing M&A processes from initiation to completion.
- Strong financial modeling, analysis, and valuation skills with knowledge of healthcare industry metrics.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with C-suite executives, legal counsel, and internal teams.
- Team player with a collaborative and problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, estimated at around 15%.
