Job Summary and Qualifications:


Under general supervision, the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will perform all respiratory care-related duties, including:

  • Setting up and administering routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
  • Managing acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Operating independently in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
  • Maintaining department and hospital records and accurately entering information into the hospital computer system.


Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Neonate Resuscitate certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) certification.
  • Full vaccination for COVID-19 in accordance with local, state.
