Summary

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent for our multi-entity tribal organization. You will collaborate closely with the Training/Recruitment Manager and hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and execute recruitment strategies that align with our organization's goals and values. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of tribal culture, values, and traditions while also demonstrating expertise in modern recruitment practices.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR leaders, as well as, casino and tribal department heads to develop comprehensive recruitment plans that address staffing needs across multiple entities within the tribal organization.
  • Identify key recruitment metrics and implement strategies to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  • Utilize various talent sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and community partnerships to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Proactively seek out qualified candidates while respecting and integrating tribal cultural sensitivities and traditions throughout the recruitment process.
  • Review applications and resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, ensuring a positive and respectful experience for all candidates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, tribal leaders, and community stakeholders to understand their unique needs and priorities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance the organization's employer brand, and through outreach efforts promote it within the community and broader talent market.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, conferences, and other recruitment events to engage with potential candidates and promote employment opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with tribal employment laws, regulations, and policies throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of recruitment activities, including candidate records, interview notes, and job postings.

Schedule Monday - Friday: 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Qualifications/Education/Experience

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, preferably in the capacity of a multi-entity organization.
  • Familiarity with modern recruitment tools and techniques, including applicant tracking systems and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license from Augustine Gaming Commission.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • While primarily performing sedentary work, he/she may need to move around the office, attend meetings, or visit other departments or locations within the organization.
  • Depending on the organization's needs, he/she may occasionally travel to attend job fairs, conferences, or networking events.
  • The work environment includes standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Manual dexterity to type, write, or handle documents and paperwork is required.
  • Recruitment can be fast-paced and dynamic, with multiple job openings to fill and deadlines to meet. The Recruitment Coordinator must be able to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • He/she will regularly interact with candidates, conducting interviews, providing feedback, and managing expectations. He/she will also communicate with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and external partners.
  • The Recruitment Coordinator must be able to learn and effectively utilize various technologies, including the applicant tracking system (ATS), email, video conferencing tools, and social media platforms, to source candidates, manage workflows, and communicate with stakeholders.

If none of the applicants should meet the stated qualifications, applicants whose education and experience are less than the stated requirements, may be interviewed and hired provided the applicant hired submits a formal written training plan within (30) thirty days which can be completed within a reasonable time agreed upon by the supervisor and the applicant. Applicants who are hired and fail to meet the agreed upon formal training program, will be discharged upon failure to complete the specified training as so scheduled.
