Job Title: Physician Assistant - Gynecology Practice

Locations: Arlington, Virginia & Brandywine, Maryland

Overview: Our reputable gynecology practice, serving patients in Arlington, Virginia, and Brandywine, Maryland, is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant who holds active credentials in both states. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting our gynecologists, and ensuring comprehensive healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings in compliance with state regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with gynecologists to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
  • Assist in gynecological surgical procedures, providing pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Educate patients on preventive care measures, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records adhering to regulatory standards in both Virginia and Maryland.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
  • Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Physician Assistant in both Virginia and Maryland.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Previous experience in gynecology or women's health is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in performing gynecological exams and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Flexibility to work in multiple locations based on practice needs.
