As a Customer Service Representative at Modern Litho in Jefferson City, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our print jobs. Your responsibilities will include meticulously creating and finalizing all details of print jobs in our planning software, efficiently entering jobs into production, and ensuring that tickets are promptly updated based on customer input or changes. It will be your mission to keep our customers, sales staff, and production team satisfied and well-informed throughout the process.

What you need to be successful

To excel as a Customer Service Representative at Modern Litho in Jefferson City, you must possess a range of essential skills. These include proficiency in MIS software to meticulously create and finalize print jobs, as well as the ability to update tickets accurately based on customer interactions. Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset are crucial attributes for success in this role. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with both internal and external customers, vendors, and colleagues.

A working knowledge of desktop publishing or print processes is advantageous, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. This position may also involve occasional training and assistance for fellow employees, highlighting the importance of teamwork and collaboration in delivering exceptional Customer Service.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Provides service to external and internal customers
  • Creates and completes every job in detail in MIS software
  • Completes job tickets according to bid specifications and/or customer instructions
  • Updates tickets when information is received and/or changed by customer
  • Communicates with vendors and prepares purchase orders
  • Must be quality minded and pay attention to detail
  • Work involves mental and visual attention
  • Preferred knowledge of desktop publishing or print knowledge
  • Must be adept in Microsoft Office
  • Occasionally instructs and assists other employees
