Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned, highly effective Chief Business Officer (CBO) who has hands-on experience in business development, corporate development, and strategic leadership to join our Senior Leadership Team. The CBO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The primary role of the CBO will be to provide leadership, direction, strategic initiatives, and oversee planning, objectives, alignment, communication, execution, efficiency, and collaboration. The CBO will play a critical role in driving the company business strategy and productive partnership. The outstanding candidates need to have an unwavering commitment to innovation, excellence, learning in alignment with company’s vision, mission, and strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the CEO to drive company strategies and innovative solutions towards successful implementation.
  • Lead all business development and alliance management efforts including driving strategic planning and execution of business deals, as well as overseeing collaboration progression and completion.
  • Coordinate company business activities in alignment with its financial sustainability and growth objectives, as well  as R&D deliverables,
  • Contribute to all company-building efforts and activities to sustain and develop engagement at all levels, enhance capacity and progress in all functional areas, and proactively assess and manage risks by evaluating and implementing robust mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years’ industry experience with a demonstrated successful track record in business development, corporate strategy, leadership, and an outstanding deal sheet
  • Ph.D in scientific field preferred with a deep understanding of industry trends, well equipped with scientific knowledge and hands-on experience in Immunology-Oncology space
  • Ability to understand complex scientific ideas and effectively communicate with key internal and external stakeholders in exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent ability to compelling, articulate, influence and work successfully with a variety of the audience.
  • Highly effective in connecting with people, building business relationships, engaging internal and external collaborators.
  • Natural ability to inspire people, cultivate culture and drive positive changes.
  • Previous Global Senior Executive Leadership experience with strong business acumen, ethical standards and tactical strategic planning and execution
