Airstream Las Vegas is seeking an outgoing and friendly person to fill the Warranty Administrator role This role performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. 

 

Job Summary: Warranty Administrators make sure the dealership is paid for warranty work by preparing, submitting, and following up on claims. As with all positions within dealerships, Warranty Administrators are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards. More details shared during screening process.

Responsibilities: Processing all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verifying criteria required by the factory or distributor. (Processes warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise)

  • (Process all claims by the next business day following RO close date)
  • Handle and resolve all claim corrections and charge-backs
  • Provide a weekly report to the service manager regarding claim status
  • Report any fraudulent manipulation of warranty claims
  • Conduct weekly audits of warranty and schedules, reviewing all old claims, and address any adjustments or write-offs
  • Assist service consultants in closing all open warranty RO's
  • Assist service consultants and technicians with any warranty questions
  • Assist with special projects, audits, and reports as requested
  • Review and manage all aging schedules and reports

 

  • Keeping abreast of all factory recalls and announcements. (Verifies criteria required by each franchise)
  • Arranging for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmitting all rejected claims promptly.
  • Reconciling all warranty receivables and working with the accounting department to obtain payments. (including the posting of credits where applicable)
  • Keeping track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement, and date on which the part may be disposed.
  • Maintaining all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.

– Processing extended warranty and prepaid maintenance plan documents for the purpose of receiving payment in full within a timely manner

- Reconciling receivables with schedules to match payment and claim amounts - Verifying all documentation in repair orders is correct prior to processing.

- Ensures all necessary documentation is attached to the repair order prior to processing. - Process third-party warranty transactions for payment.

  • Ensures all dollar amounts are correct and recorded on repair orders, and routes funds to proper accounts.
