Wellfound Foods is a next-generation grab-and-go food company based in Washington, D.C. We make fresh prepared meals and snacks for wholesale distribution to retailers and for retail distribution to our network of tech-enabled, contactless kiosks - we call them SmartMarkets.

Role Description (You):

We are hiring a Delivery Driver to help distribute our meals to wholesale clients and SmartMarkets. In addition, you will be responsible for working with our Fulfillment, Operations, Customer Service, and Field Service teams. Success will be measured by order accuracy, timely delivery, and maximized SmartMarket uptime.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive safely and efficiently maneuver city streets in a company-owned refrigerated van, deliver food to customers, fridges, and retail partners, and then use and communicate completed deliveries to HQ.
  • Work with customer support to troubleshoot and document issues. 
  • Complete service repair calls as directed by tickets.
  • Maintain and input critical data into various systems.
  • You’ll be the only Wellfound Foods employee that many of our customers see so you must be friendly and represent the company well at all times.

 

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Must Have valid US Driver's Licence
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Minor mechanical skills to perform SmartMarket repairs and refrigerated van maintenance
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • 2+ years of experience relevant to the above
