Overall Summary

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled field sales manager to be a member of our Fluid Conveyance Product Group. Reporting to the group director for fluid conveyance products, the primary role is to develop and sell to small and medium size OEM customers. Not required to live within designated territory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout a designated region to promote and sell conveyance products
  • Plan own itinerary and schedule meetings with key accounts and targets
  • Work with customer service team and engineers to provide a world class customer experience
  • Keep abreast of competitor activities within the region
  • Attend trade shows as needed
  • Use company software and sales programs (CRM)
  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Three (3) plus years demonstrated success in a remote sales role, targeting small and medium OEM customers with a history in hydraulic hose and fittings applications is required
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
  • Work well with a team and independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
