A commercial technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Summit Broadband's cable television, internet, and telephone services for business customers. You will be employed by our company, Aspire Communications, working as a subcontractor for Summit Broadband.

The specific job duties of a Summit Broadband Commercial cable technician may include:

  • Installing and configuring cable television, internet, and telephone equipment at customers' businesses
  • Splicing and terminating cables as needed
  • Testing and verifying the performance of the cable system
  • Troubleshooting and repairing any issues with the cable system
  • Providing technical support to customers experiencing issues with their service
  • Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  • Providing training and guidance to other technicians and staff as needed
  • Staying up to date with new technologies and developments in the field, and implementing any necessary upgrades or changes to the cable system.
  • Frequent travel to the Lakeland and Tampa areas for installs.

To be successful in this role, a Summit Broadband Commercial cable technician should have strong technical skills and the ability to work with a variety of equipment and tools. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills are also important, as the technician may need to work with customers and other team members to resolve issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
