Summary: The Rest Area Supervisor, under general supervision will maintain rest areas according to contract specifications and provide quality training to personnel assigned.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A: Job Specific:
  1. Recommend for hire, supervise, evaluate, support, mentor, monitor, approve e-time and recommend for termination assigned staff.
  2. Organize workflow and prioritize work of assigned staff for maximum efficiency.
  3. Coordinate formal staff development activities including job specific orientation and ongoing staff development for all personnel assigned.
  4. Assure that all assigned staff completes assigned trainings.
  5. Assure the cleaning and maintenance of all rest area buildings and rest area property.
  6. Complete minor repairs per contract.
  7. Assist with repairs and projects at the Rest Areas.
B. Company Specific:
  1. Adheres to dress code.
  2. Completes annual health, safety, and education requirements and demonstrate expected level of competency for each course completed.
  3. Reports to work on time as scheduled; stay awake and alert during work/training; adheres to policies regarding notification of absence.
  4. Attends all mandatory trainings and staff meetings.
  5. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner by establishing and maintaining professional relationships that foster growth and development.
  6. Complies with all organizational policies and procedures, to include all ethical business practices.
  7. Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the company.
  8. Maintains current licensure/certification for position, if applicable.
  9. Consistently follows departmental and company Health, Safety, Security, Hazardous Materials policies and procedures (OSHA, SDS information, HIPAA, and Workers Compensation).
  10. Respect for diversity (cultural, ethnicity, ideas, etc.) and demonstrate ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  11. Must carry work phone while on duty at all times; respond to phone calls, text messages, and emails in a timely manner.
  12. This position may require the employee to operate either a company owned or personal vehicle on behalf of the company; the company owned vehicle should always remain clean.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Ability to work independently or in a team. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to secure and maintain a NACI clearance (Federal Background Check)

Qualifications

Education. High School or GED.

Experience. Three years’ experience in the custodial field of which one year must be in a supervisory capacity.

Education/Experience substitution. In accordance with Tresco policy.

Licenses/Certifications. Valid driver’s license.

Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). Employee’s must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a government background check.

Rate of Pay: $16.50/hour
