Anchor Talent has partnered with a North Austin area Engineering firm focused on commercial, warehouse, roadway, and multi-use projects. With continued expansion of operations, these companies have several roles open to Civil Engineers with an EIT (Engineer-in-Training).

Job Summary:

As a Civil Engineer with EIT certification, you will be crucial in various engineering projects from conception to completion. You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with senior engineers and project managers to design, plan, and execute various civil engineering projects. Your technical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills will contribute to successfully delivering diverse projects, including transportation infrastructure, water resources, commercial structures, and public works initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Design: Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to conceptualize and plan civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.

Engineering Analysis: Conduct technical analysis, feasibility studies, and simulations to evaluate the viability and effectiveness of proposed engineering solutions.

CAD and Modeling: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and modeling tools to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Construction Support: Provide support during the construction phase, including site inspections, construction administration, and resolution of any on-site engineering challenges.

Quality Assurance: Ensure quality and accuracy of engineering deliverables, adhering to established quality control procedures.

Client Interaction: Interact with clients, stakeholders, and external agencies to address concerns, provide project updates, and maintain positive relationships.

Safety and Sustainability: Incorporate safety protocols and sustainable practices into the design and execution of projects, prioritizing environmental consciousness and risk mitigation.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.

EIT Certification: Must possess a valid Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in Texas or be eligible for immediate certification transfer from another state.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and MicroStation

Strong Knowledge: Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements specific to Texas.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex engineering challenges and propose effective solutions.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment, handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
