Interim Health Care of Joliet is urgently hiring for a full- time Home Health Scheduling Coordinator.
Hours are Monday thru Friday 8AM-4PM

As a Home Health Scheduling Coordinator, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Staff orders with qualified personnel in a timely manner, and or organizes job schedules for home care personnel.
- First point of contact to retrieve and route incoming calls in a professional manner
- Provides customer service assistance as appropriate.
- Create and maintain files for employees, verifies licenses/education credentials through IDPH website, certifications, performs background checks and drug screening.
- Responsible for hiring new staff and conducting new hire orientation and onboarding
- Assist with office functions such as payroll
- Assist with internal audits from time to time to ensure compliance
- Completes other assignments as requested and assigned
- May have access to personal health information (PHI) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities
A few must-haves for Home Health Scheduling Coordinator:
- Associate Degree and/or High School Diploma, 2 years of training or work experience.
- Two years of scheduling or health care experience required
- Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Calm demeanor in a stressful situation
- Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Scheduling program.
- Understanding of state and federal home care standards and regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with clinical and non-clinical staff
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Quick Learner and the ability to multi task
- Certified Nursing assistant experience helpful but not required
