Responsibilities of our Engineering Administrator:
- Create and process work orders
- Run reports to identify parts shortages and issue corresponding work orders
- Create nests for CNC cutting machines
- Process Engineering Change Requests from the shop floor
- Process parts orders for the sales team
- Respond to questions from engineering and the shop floor as needed
- Work with other team members to resolve inventory discrepancies
Qualifications of our Engineering Administrator:
- AAS in a technical field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings and product specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills required
- Experience with ERP software and MS Office
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Manufacturing and steel or aluminum fabrication experience preferred
- Experience in a machine or fabrication shop preferred
